On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, Brazilian filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho was a guest at Cinema Modernissimo, where he gave a Cinema Lesson in conversation with Cineteca di Bologna director Gian Luca Farinelli. The discussion was followed by a screening of his 2008 debut, Crítico.

Tomorrow evening, 29 June, the director will introduce a screening of his Bacurau (Brazil–France, 2019) with a special video message in Piazza Maggiore.
