Step into the cinephiles’ heaven!
To be able to attend Il Cinema Ritrovato 2026, you’ll need a pass that’s valid for the full duration of the festival. Once you’ve got yours, we’ll email you your login details to then access the booking platform.

Festival pass holders will be able to book seats for the scheduled screenings according to a timetable that will be available in early June. The festival uses a phased booking system, with seats being made available in stages.
To book, you must have a festival pass and use the login details sent to you via email.

Admission to the screenings in Piazza Maggiore is free. Festival pass holders can reserve a seat online in the section reserved for them (subject to availability).

People of all ages, from around the world, help organise the festival and welcome our audiences, playing a vital role in its success. It’s a unique opportunity to share, learn, and celebrate a love of cinema.

Guests with disabilities can apply for a reduced-price pass (and a free pass for the accompanying person).
Every cinema has wheelchair-accessible seating.

Concessions are available for individuals who meet the criteria below:

• Adults with a certified disability of 67% or higher
• Individuals receiving a carer’s allowance
• Individuals certified under Law 104/1992, Article 3(3)
• People who are blind and visually impaired
• People who are deaf
• Individuals with disabilities or incapacity recognised under Law 222/1984
• Individuals with work-related disabilities with a certified disability of over 35%
• Individuals with work-related disabilities, those entitled to a personal and continuous care allowance, or with impairments affecting their physical or mental integrity
• Individuals deemed unfit for work (as defined by Law 379/1955, Presidential Decree 73/92, and Presidential Decree 171/2011), and individuals with disabilities (as defined by Law 274/1991, Article 13, and Law 335/1995, Article 2)
• Citizens entitled to ordinary or war-related benefits

Further information regarding concessions
The reduced festival pass (€50) is intended for the person with a disability. Only one free festival pass is available for a carer.

Festival pass for participants with disabilities and the complimentary pass for their accompanying person can be purchased online after completing the online form or by sending an email to accessibile@cineteca.bologna.it and attaching a disability card or other supporting documentation.
Once you have received a positive response, you can proceed to purchase the pass online and subsequently book your seat for the desired screenings using your username and password (details provided after purchasing the pass).

Completing the online form helps us to provide special services for people with disabilities and to organise the support service as effectively as possible.

N.B. Please remember to bring a document certifying your disability with you to the festival; otherwise, we will not be able to guarantee the concessions listed above.
