Since its inauguration on Saturday 13 June, the opening of the new ARZ conservation and restoration centre – the Renato Zangheri Archive – has proved a great success!

Created through the redevelopment of the former Giuriolo car park, the new space will house the vast film and photographic heritage of the Cineteca and numerous depositors, as well as the restoration laboratory L’Immagine Ritrovata.

For ten days, the Renato Zangheri Archive has opened its doors to the public, offering guided tours of the photographic and film archives, all of which were fully booked, led by the Cineteca’s archivists.
