Starting 29 June: the Second Part of the Festival “Extended”

The Festival Isn’t Over just Yet…

The “Cinephiles’ Heaven” festival (20–28 June) has decided to expand its cinematic offering even further this year with an additional programme. While the “Sotto le stelle del cinema” screenings continue every night in Piazza Maggiore, from June 29 to July 5 the “Extended” series of extra screenings returns to Cinema Modernissimo, following its first run.

The “Extended” screenings are open both to festival pass holders, who can reserve their seats, and to the general public, who can purchase tickets for individual screenings.

The evening programme includes: Ich küsse ihre Hand, Madame (Robert Land, Germany, 1929), Poulet aux prunes (Vincent Paronnaud & Marjane Satrapi, France, 2011), Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (Martin Scorsese, USA, 1974), The Pornographers (Shohei Imamura, Japan, 1966), When the Waves Are Gone (Lav Diaz, Philippines, 2022), All the President’s Men (Alan J. Pakula, USA, 1976), and Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino, USA, 1994).

Not to be missed!
