young cinema lovers
Le Monde Est à Nous is a new association founded by young film enthusiasts who grew and developed through Il Cinema Ritrovato Young, a project curated by Schermi e Lavagne, the educational department of the Cineteca di Bologna. Over the years, the group has gained experience and matured, and has now decided to establish an independent organization of its own, making room for a new generation of young cinephiles.
“Le Monde Est à Nous is a social promotion association born out of our experience with Il Cinema Ritrovato Young project and our desire to transform a shared passion into an open, dynamic, and participatory space.
Our journey has evolved into an association through which we will organize film series, events, outreach activities, and educational programmes designed to bring more and more young people closer to film culture, making it a living and meaningful part of everyday life.
We believe in cinema as a place of encounter, discovery, and exchange. Not merely a screen to watch, but a language through which to interpret the present, share ideas, and create connections between people.
During Il Cinema Ritrovato festival, we will document what happens both inside and outside the screening venues through videos and glimpses of audience life and experiences.
We have also created a WhatsApp community open to all festival pass holders, where we can exchange ideas and connect with one another from different parts of the world in a shared space.
Le Monde Est à Nous is a starting point—an invitation to watch, discuss, discover, and share. Because cinema truly continues to exist when it leaves the theatre and becomes something collective and participatory.”
