From Saturday 20 to Sunday 28 June 2026, the 40th edition of the Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival will take place in Bologna, as part of the Sotto le Stelle del Cinema programme. Il Cinema Ritrovato renews its invitation to film lovers from all over the world: nine days of screenings from morning to night, in the many cinemas scattered throughout Bologna’s centre. And to finish each day, special screenings in Piazza Maggiore, open to everyone.

To volunteer for the two festivals, please complete the form and submit by 21 May 2026.

Selected candidates, who must be at least 18 years old, will be invited for an interview by 12 June 2026.
