Film Notes

Before the film and the role which will change his life, Rudy has time for another small time gangster role in The Wonderful Chance by George Archainbaud. A curious film which begins as if it were a gangster movie, describing the low traffickings and missed coups of criminals just out of Sing Sing; and playing on an exchange of roles between a gang leader and a lord, finishes by crowning a love story in high society style. Rudolph de Valentino, as in the credits, is only a sideline small-time swindler.
