Festival Passes 2026

HOW TO ATTEND TO THE FESTIVAL

Attendance at Il Cinema Ritrovato 2026 is permitted exclusively through the purchase of a Festival Pass, which is valid for the entire duration of the festival.

Upon purchasing a pass, you will receive your credentials along with instructions for booking complimentary tickets for individual screenings in advance, subject to availability. The booking system will open 10 days prior to the start of the festival.

Access to screenings in Piazza Maggiore is free; however, pass holders will be granted priority entry to the reserved seating area.



REGULAR PASSES

Full Price Pass: €140
Reduced Price Pass: €70*
“Bologna” and University Student Reduced Price Pass: €50**
Young Pass: €20 (for young people aged 13-19)
Press Pass: €50
To request press accreditation, please write to cinetecaufficiostampa@cineteca.bologna.it, indicating the publication or outlet for which you intend to cover the festival. A reduced fee will still be applicable to those requesting a press pass.
Kids Pass: €10
For children up to 12 years of age, the pass allows access – for one child and up to two accompanying adults – to all the screenings and afternoon workshops in Il Cinema Ritrovato Kids section, subject to availability. This pass may be purchased only during the days of the festival.

WHERE TO PURCHASE THE FESTIVAL PASSES

Online until 1pm on June 16
The online sales will resume at 9:00 am on 19 June, with a slight increase in price.

At the Guest Office or at the Bookshop of the Cineteca di Bologna from June 19 to 28, with a small increase of the price

The Kids Pass is not available for purchase online and may be obtained at both the Office of Hospitality and the Bookshop at the Cineteca (Via Riva di Reno, 72), starting 30 minutes before the beginning of the screenings.

“Bologna” and University Student Reduced Price Pass: €55

Young Pass: €25 (for young people aged 13-19)

WHERE TO COLLECT THE FESTIVAL PASSES

The pass can be collected at the Festival Guest Office.

Hours:
From June 19 to 26: from 9am to 6.30pm
June 27: from 9.30am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6.30pm
June 28: from 9.30am to 1.30pm



REDUCED PRICE PASSES

* The Reduced-Price Pass (€70.00) is available for individuals aged 65 and over.

** The “Bologna” and University Student Discount Pass (€50) is available to residents of the city and province of Bologna, university students and holders of Card Cultura.

When collecting a Festival Pass purchased at a discounted rate, you must present valid documentation confirming your eligibility for the reduced rate.

Please note that all festival passes are non-transferable and for personal use only. They are also non-refundable.
