Portraits of people loosely connected to each other. Embedded in long shots of the sea and blocks of houses in the twilight, they resemble fragments of dreams, almost to the point of an alternative consciousness. A woman holding opera glasses watches a clown attempting a failed attack on an egg; a girl salutes in a cap- Now That You Are Gone tain’s uniform; two people with learning disabilities sit on a bench with a tea pot while a plate zooms by. People are the focus of this film, while their theatrical actions distort reality.
