Buchu the tramp finds a coin with which he decides to buy a newspaper and a carnation for the buttonhole of his tattered jacket. He then gives a coin to a blind man and buys himself a cigar. Finally he eats a sandwich at a restaurant and, with the remaining money, buys some toothpicks.
