A visit to Pétain’s small country home in Antibes. Some recollections about his friend – ship with Franco (Pétain was appointed as French ambassador to Spain in 1939) and then off to Hôtel du Parc, his official residence in Vichy France as of 1940. Marshal Pétain visits a youth camp, a model farm and the city of Arles for a ceremony commemorating Frédéric Mistral. The last scene is a conversation between Philippe Pétain and his biographer.
