Film notes

Boireau father has decided to marry off his son, the hope of the family. The young Boireau, though, does not agree with his father’s plans as he has already made his choice, the lovable Valentine, a young and cheerful beauty who is ready to make her partner happy after the wedding. Boireau father, a man of unbending principles, vigorously refuses to allow the union. But his heir, cunning since birth, finds the way to lock away in the spacious shelves of an old cupboard all those that oppose the wedding, including his father, mother and Valentine’s tutor. Faced with such forceful and respectful arguments the three do not hesitate in giving in.
