Film Notes

Of the thirty-seven films in which Valentino appeared as an actor twenty have apparently been lost. Out of these one, The young Rajah, of which only an Italian presentation has survived, stands out. According to the Bollettino dell’Ufficio Revisione Cinematographica (Year XII, n.9, 30 September 1925) Rosen’s film obtained the approval visa n. 21048 in Italy, for a total length of 2196m. This presentation was found among the materials of the “Anonima Pittaluga” conserved by the Cineteca Nazionale. (Restoration made from an original negative).
