Film Notes
Lazing in a comfortable armchair smoking a good cigar, Boireau enjoys sweet idleness. But he is suddenly torn from his sweet thoughts by strange noises. A few apaches are fighting over their queen’s heart, a dark haired gigolette. Literally thrilled by the beautiful eyes of the criminal, Boireau is emboldened by love and ventures in a hove to find her. Declaring his love is a piece of cake for our hero. But the object of his love asks him for certain difficult and unexpected tests. The subordinates of the beauty are furious about the favours allowed Boireau and try every way to get rid of their rival. Poor Boireau! He is hung from a lamppost and then he falls into a well. But the gigolette, amazed and conquered by her suitor’s perseverance, removes all dangers: Boireau will finally be able to live happily alongside his beauty.
