The complete programme of Il Cinema Ritrovato 2021 Film Lessons is finally online. This year conversations are a mirror of the festival\u2019s great variety and richness.<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre Berthome\u0301<\/strong> will reveal how the set the Babylonian episode of Intolerance<\/em> was built; legendary directors Girish Kasaravalli and Kumar Shahani will guide us through the meanders of Parallel Cinema<\/strong>; with Sylvie Pras and Massoumeh Lahidji we will explore the exhibit devoted to Abbas Kiarostami<\/strong>. We will follow Ehsan Khoshbakht through George Stevens<\/strong>\u2019 cinema and \u2013 on the centenary of her birth \u2013 Gianfranco Angelucci through Giulietta Masina<\/strong>\u2019s.<\/p>\n Whereas some of the artists attending \u2013 Amos Gitai<\/strong>, Paul Haggis<\/strong>, Brigitte and Marian Lacombe<\/strong>, Isabella Rossellini<\/strong>, Alice Rohrwacher<\/strong> \u2013 will share their love for cinema and for their own work with us, others will focus on others, like Volker Schlo\u0308ndorff<\/strong> on Romy Schneider<\/strong>. Marco Tullio Giordana<\/strong> will tell us all about his two passions: cinema and vintage cars, while conversations with Thierry Fre\u0301maux<\/strong> and Marta Donzelli<\/strong> will reflect on the role of film institutions and organisations in the near future.<\/p>\n The complete Film Lessons programme, as long the Focus on restoration programma, will be available not only live, in Bologna, during the festival, but also online on the platform Il Cinema Ritrovato streaming<\/a>.
