Film Notes

A small section dedicated to documentaries produced by Pittaluga and directed by young filmmakers at the beginning of their career. Fascist propaganda is not too direct, as it is conveyed through the praise of man and technology, which can free him from hard toil. The symbols of the regime are just hinted at, but the image and filmic language draw fully from Soviet and American cinema, merging them into a single propaganda effort.
