Film Notes
Until today one of the most mysterious figures in Italian cinema has been, without a doubt, Lucio D’Ambra. Recent finds of his works permit a more accurate outline of a personality capable of influencing a good part of Italian productions in those years. He began his career at Film d’Arte with this biting comedy found among the numerous works preserved at the Cinémathèque Française. The film is currently undergoing restoration in Bologna.
